SANDI + KENAN | GREENVILLE, ALABAMA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | ANNA FINDLEY PHOTOGRAPHY

CONGRATULATIONS, SANDI + KENAN!!!
This wedding was so much fun for several reasons. Not only did everyone have great personalities but Sandi and Kenan also got married in the historical town of Selma! I also got married in Selma so it was a nice treat to be back in such a sweet town! Sandi's dress was a very light pink and to say it was beautiful is an understatement! My second shooter, Tracy and my assistant, Sandy, went home talking about it! The dress was textured with a deep lowcut front with a square back. There is nothing I would change about it, that's for sure! Sandi paired her show-stopping dress with a family heirloom veil, which added the right amount of "special" to her look. Speaking of personality, Kenan kept us laughing! It was hard not to laugh the entire time! He was hilarious!!
My journey with Sandi and Kenan started on Friday night at their "Welcome to Selma" party. Because most (if not all) of their wedding party and guest were from Chattanooga and Nashville, a huge WELCOME was just a great touch! I met their guest, who were all so welcoming, and even listened to so many sweet memories as each person came forward to speak about Sandi and Kenan. I laughed literally the whole time and KNEW the next day would be filled with just as much love and laughter and I couldn't wait!
"WELCOME TO SELMA"
THE WEDDING
The wedding day started out at the Kenan Family property, also known as the "Kenan House". Driving up to this gorgeous white large house was a perfect backdrop for their reception as well. Sandi and her bridesmaids got dressed here as we waited for the guys to meet at the same location. On the front steps, in between the large white columns, Kenan laid eyes on his Bride for the first time in her bridal gown. This is always my favorite part of the day! There's something about that first moment that always makes me love my job so much! So special!
The flowers were so elegant. White, greenery and a touch of blue. What a dream! Sandi and Kenan tied to knot at 5:00pm on May 15, 2021 at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in downtown Selma, Alabama. This church was covered in beautiful decorative stain glass windows. It was breathtaking, to say the least! Surrounded by family and friends, they said their vows and tied the knot!
The reception was a huge party Sandi and Kenan were looking forward to! (We were too!) The band was amazing!!! They had me taping my toes and wanting to join the guest on the dance floor! The reception was covered in dark blue linens draped over wooden tables and topped with whimsical greenery and candles. The dance floor had hanging chandeliers which were GORGEOUS!! With bistro style lights hung from each tent and and a beautiful all white wedding cake too! This wedding truly was a treat to see and so many details were perfectly planned!
